August Meeting and Open House

The focus for our August meeting will be crochet. We will talk about the different things you can do with crochet and our secretary, Vicki Ann Buckley, will teach a beginning crochet class after the meeting.  The class will make a market bag. The workshop is free so if you have every wanted to learn how to crochet here is the perfect opportunity.

We will also have a knit version of the market bag so join us on our knit-along. Sandra will help members with the knit version of the bag. Bring 300 yards of sport or worsted weight yarn. Cotton or linen yarn works best but any non-stretchy yarn will work. Bring 24′ or larger appropriate size circular needles.

We will also have an open house where we invite the public in to our meeting to see who we are and what we do.
